The idea was born through the many frustrations we had when we were looking at purchasing a property in the Dordogne. On many occasions we spent weeks at a time driving around, often covering up to a thousand miles a week, just to find that perfect property. If only we could have used a helicopter ourselves at the time! Going back to the UK and working after all this was very tiring indeed to the point where we honestly felt like giving up and staying put. Trying to find the perfect home can be stressful to say the least, especially if the properties lined up by agents are a considerable distance apart.

We have sourced a beautiful 17 th Century Chateau on the outskirts of Bergerac where you can stay for the duration of your house hunt. The Chateau offers golf and tennis for the energetic and a pool with sun terrace to relax and take in some of the 45 acres of stunning scenery. The two restaurants offer an exquisite menu which is prepared by a Dutch Master Chef .
